What Is Included?
License basics:
SimaPro cloud edition — access to the SimaPro cloud platform for 1 year from activation.
Most standard SimaPro Business functionality, so you can model, calculate, and analyze your own LCA projects. Some features (like AI model builder) are excluded.
The BAFU data library, included so you can build and run complete assessments.
A wide range of impact assessment methods.
Learning support:
Access to the Introduction to LCA & SimaPro cloud tutorial, covering the fundamentals of LCA and how to navigate SimaPro.
Additional free resources on the One Click LCA Academy
What Is Not Included?
Licensed third-party data libraries: ecoinvent and other paid databases are not available on this plan.
Compliance packs: Compliance packs are not included with the Student license.
Multiple users: Each Student license covers 1 user in 1 organization — it is not intended for group or shared team accounts.
SimaPro desktop: The Student license is cloud-only; the desktop edition is not included.
License extension: The license runs for 1 year and cannot be extended or renewed.
Instant activation: Unlike some other student programs, every SimaPro Student application is reviewed and approved individually by our Customer Success team — accounts aren't created automatically the moment you apply.
