Are SimaPro multi-user versions floating licenses?

Business licenses are not floating, they are meant for named users. The client installation is copy protected with activation. Further, the maximum number of users is determined by the SimaPro database server.

As for educational licenses, only the Classroom license is a floating license, i.e. the maximum numbers of users is determined by the SimaPro database server. You can install the client as often as you want; however, we recommend installing the client on a server for optimal performance and maintenance.
