How can I create a new method?

You can create a new method by going to the 'Methods' section and clicking 'New'. This will open a new, but completely empty method. The method will be saved in the project you work in.

To avoid spending a great deal of time filling the method with substances, you can choose to first make a copy of an existing method, and edit that instead. Select the method you want to copy, click 'Copy' on the right side of the method index. A copy of the method will open. Make sure to rename the new method to avoid confusion with the original one. This new method will be saved in the project you are currently working in.

Please note that it is possible to copy complete impact categories from one method to another. Select the category; use Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste from an existing method to the new one.
