All production, consumption and supply mixes already present in ecoinvent v2 were reviewed and edited if needed according to an ecoinvent v3 methodology (see definition of the terms in the Terminology section) in order to ensure more consistency. Many of these datasets formed the basis for their corresponding market activities. In addition, some production mixes are still supplied additionally. Some mixes were removed as they were no longer considered relevant with the availability of the market datasets. The correspondence files and the change report explain this in more detail.
